Change

Hello everyone,

During these past few years I've been trying my best in putting everything all together with band mates and relations. Today I feel that there's a kind of change all around me, music isn't quite my cup of tea from time to time, and sometimes, on a day like I feel like playing for hours.

But I am happy to announce that my new record is  now 97,8% done. I don't know if it's going to be an aMute album or a Jérôme Deuson one but it's the first solo album since 2006, the name doesn't really matter. So I'll soon be in the always pleasant process of finding a label in these magnificent times where music sells millions of CD's every second ;-)
You'll be updated. All I can tell you is that it is the darkest album I could make for one of the darkest year of my life.

As for the band... well things have changed again. After two guitar players, three drummers, three bass players I thought it could be the right time to stay put for once. So we're thinking of mabe changing the name of the band, no aMute for the band, aMute for the solo, or Jérôme Deuson for the solo... : Who gives a shit ? People prefer to listen to original music of Belgian bands with names starting a "The" than taking the time to read those lines. And I don't blame that.

There's a compilation available here for free with a track I did for Tsukuboshi label where I was asked to use sound banks of Tunisian field recordings.

Check it out.

you certainly should make it more clear about the name (this amute band / solo is too unreadable) and maybe prefer the solo way than the band. solo albums are truly my favorites. I like amute music ! and already waiting a lot for the new upcoming album. keep it doing Jerome !
